The Ordane Desk: Who Writes and Verifies the Journal

Ordane publishes at ordanemarkets.com. Its blog is The Ordane Journal, at ordanemarkets.com/blog/. This page states the editorial standard the Journal writes to, the sourcing rules the corpus already follows, and who is formally accountable for it.

What The Ordane Journal is

The Ordane Journal is Ordane's own publication: plain, dated, sourced answers to the questions traders ask about prop firms, including Ordane itself. It is not a syndicated feed and it carries no guest posts. Every article on it is produced and verified in-house before it goes live.

The editorial standard: a date and a source, every time

Ordane Rulebook v1.0 states the principle the Journal is held to: all numeric claims published by Ordane carry a date and a source (Rulebook v1.0, clause P-3). That is not a slogan applied after the fact. It is the rule a draft has to pass before it publishes.

In practice that means a number without a source attached does not run. A claim about Ordane's own rules cites the clause it comes from. A claim about another firm, a regulator, or an industry event cites the outlet or the primary filing that reported it, with the date it was retrieved. Where a fact can go stale, the Journal tracks a re-check date rather than letting an old number sit as if it were still current.

First-party sources, cited as first-party

When an article states something about Ordane, the source is Ordane's own governing document, the Ordane Rulebook v1.0, or ordanemarkets.com itself. When an article states something about another firm or a regulator, the source is that party's own published record: a press release, a regulator's own warning page, a court filing, or trade-press reporting that named its own source. A briefing, a slide deck, or an earlier article is never treated as the origin of a fact about Ordane. It can point to one, never replace it.

What does not get published

Where Ordane's own record is incomplete, an article says so and stops rather than filling the gap with a plausible number. Ordane has no payout history yet, and none is manufactured. The founder's name and the company's jurisdiction of incorporation are not published as of this writing, so no article on this Journal names either.

Who is accountable for this Journal

Every article on the Journal is bylined "By the Ordane desk." That is deliberate, not a placeholder filled in carelessly: Ordane's rulebook signature block carries no published founder name yet, so no article attributes a claim to a named individual who cannot be checked.

Formally, editorial responsibility for The Ordane Journal, including the standard on this page, rests with the Editorial desk. That is the accountable party of record until Ordane publishes a named founder identity, at which point the byline and this page update to name that person directly.
